Hundreds of people around New Zealand took part in UNICEF's Unite for Mothers campaign. People knitted and crocheted squares that were stitched together to make a giant baby blanket big enough to cover a bus. The campaign raised awareness about the need to prevent mother-child transmission of HIV. The giant blanket will be divided into 70 baby-sized blankets for new mums in Papua New Guinea.
