Hundreds of people around New Zealand took part in UNICEF's Unite for Mothers campaign. People knitted and crocheted squares that were stitched together to make a giant baby blanket big enough to cover a bus. The campaign raised awareness about the need to prevent mother-child transmission of HIV. The giant blanket will be divided into 70 baby-sized blankets for new mums in Papua New Guinea.
please be advised that the hiv test only identifies the presence of 2, 3 or 4 proteins for a positive result depending on which country one is testing in and many conditions have been found to produce those proteins including drug use, flu shots, tuberculosis and pregnancy among others. please pray for all those who have been misdiagnosed with hiv and AIDS.
