  • what did you use for your pole camea? I'm looking at doing a pole camera but using the professional mounting stuff and it's expensive

  • @Pittimus84 1inch diameter PVC piping and a metal ornamental door hanger.. and ducktape. lots of duck tape. that road is so bumpy, i honestly thing the results would have been better on a smoother road. unfortunatly smooth twisty roads don't exist in the state of vermont. the door hanger thing, attached at 45 degrees to brace the piping with the camera at the top. attached to the rear grab handle that SVs have. the door hanger was semi-under the rear passenger seat resting on a ridge.

  • @HAIONSTRESS Yeah, I was going to use a telescoping handle from a carwash extending brush, but I mounted it with the gopro on the end, and just the weight of that so far out caused a ton of flexing in the rode, and the bike was on the rear stand on the back porch, that was just from me letting go it if after taping it on to see how it looked, so I scrapped that idea until I get better equipment

  • @Pittimus84 you need that second support mounted at an acute angle. the second support will keep it from moving around so much. i use legit 3M duct tape and it didnt leave any residue or anything on my paint or grab handle, but i made sure to put the soft side of some extra velcro adhesive i had at the bottom of the PVC pipe so it wouldnt scratch the paint. i think we need lighter cameras!

  • WOO HOO!! A new Stress vid.Your bike sounds sweet man.I've got a kink in my neck now from all those turns.

  • @pulse0000 i find myself doing the same when watching vids :P

  • camera quake...........

  • I like this video, because the rider did not load the video with unnecessary music, and we can hear the V-Twin sound.

  • @Thaibiker85 hey!! long time

  • @dprider02 the camera mount.. 1inch diameter PVC style pipe attached to the passenger grab rail, decorative metal door hinge attached at a 45 degree angle, the hinge pressed against this ridge in the plastic surround under the rear seat. i secured it, then put the seat back on and it held it well. without the second support the mount would just flail around. it still did a bit but that road is so bumpy not much i could do.

  • @dprider02 haha.. yeah the good weather is finally here. going to make a normal helmet cam vid this sunday!
