CH News: March 15, 2011. - They call it Ontario's Dirty Little Secret. This is a story of injustice in the justice system. The Ontario Criminal Injuries Compensation Board has denied the application of a mother whose son was murdered four years ago. According to the board, they do not think she is victim and have told her so in a letter! "She has not proven her claim" as a victim. These are people who need the help and support of their government but are only met by silence. Premier McGuinty promised to deliver but it's worse today!
