NOTE: VIDEO QUALITY IMPROVES after 3 MINUTES!!!!!! 8 January 2012: Feast of the Baptism of the Lord .The Pope says "hoc est enim corpus meum" when consecrating the Precious Blood.he should have said HIC EST ENIM CALIX SANGUINES MEI,It's a mistake. He made a mistake. We know it wasn't intentional, but slip of the tongue."It would appear that, owing to the obvious and surely unintentional mistake, the Pope may not have consecrated the wine.As the Concelebrants said the correct words, both the bread and the wine were Consecrated and the Mass was valid." so....lets not make a big 'sedevacantist' deal out of it.!!

  • @gallantries : Sorry, but the Pope says "Hoc est enim Corpus meum". I'm Chilean and, in Spanish, I understand "Hoc".

    Greetings for the video!

  • @mecheverriadiaz yes you are right about HIC was Hoc, for the consecration of the Host/Body of Christ, BUT this is referring to what he said for the consecration of the Precious Blood, at 11:23 ,where he says Hic 'est enim corpus meum' the problem isnt 'Hic' but, not saying HIC 'EST ENIM CALIX SANGUINES MEI'. in other words he accidentally repeated the words of Consecration for the Bread/Host, over the Precious Blood/wine, but kept 'Hic', which is the only correct part.PAX

  • LONG LIVE THE HOLY FATHER BENEDICT XVI!

  • he's an old man and make a mistake. The intention was there along with a celebrant and so was the ritual. the bottom line is that he STILL confected the Eucharist .

Let's pray for Our Holy Father and stop wasting our precious time on his mistake

  • @gallantries Ok. I've made a Mistake. Sorry. This mistake (of the Pope) is not intentional.

Divinum Auxilium maneat semper te cum.

  • Come on Holy Father! That's one step closer to the TLM!

  • Great video, thank you! I have shared it at my Facebook Page Tradisi Katolik.
