I'm sure it would be; Even just in my room, and outside my house, it's quite loud with the volume nob on one bar. I think it would be pretty decent sounding for a metal gig. :)

im planning on getting one of these amps but i was just wondering which is better for bedroom practice line 6 spider 3 amp (30 watt) or the line 6 spider 3 amp (75 watt) i want something not loud and not too low

@RodrigoCFD I play gigs with mine all the time. The foot pedal has been broken, finally after 2 years. I am hard on my stuff too...it's held up fine. Look at my videos, I think there's clips of me using it and it cuts through the mix fine.
