@heidirh I agree. I looked up her acting career online and it said that she did do some commercials in her early career, but there was no mention of her doing a clorets commercial.

The actress isn't Laura Dern. This actress' face is kind of similar, but not close enough to be mistaken for her. If you've seen Blue Velvet or Wild at Heart you know what Laura Dern's face looked like in the 80s.
