@HeIIvisPresley star manager? he was a first team coach... no managerial experience and he should have went back to that role after a brief stint as caretaker.. im more worried that newcastle has lost a cracking coach who had the respect and belief of the players... a manager is not supposed to be 'close' with the players they are there to make the tough decisions. the coaching staff are there to inspire and develop. Hughton was excellent at that.

@styot Never convinced that Allardyce would be anything other than mediocre, too. I'd love the Toon to have a manager with flair and the fire in their belly to match the passion of the fans. As for who???.

@BigMrFirebird Nah, we had Allardyce as well untill the fat cunt sacked him too. We'd never of been relegated if we'd of stuck with him and would probably be in Europe by now.
