  • Her voice does sound a lot like siouxsie sioux but thats not bad in my opinion clearly she is not trying to imitate her. I like this!

  • I don't know why, but this video reminds me of Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heat". Maybe it's the blue light and those windows...

  • @TMSreptiles did you look at it?

  • I think she is so awesome also. After reading about her i do think that she goes into a deeper level and relates herself to the world in a very universal way. I guess I see the way women dress in music as being contrary to what i hear come out of their mouths. Not particularly in this video but the standard. i think the music industry does that to women more than men for sure. there is an acceptable way to look. That is why i like cat power, she is herself and dresses as she wishes.

  • @blacklebee That's cool. It sounded a bit like you were judging her a bit, that's all. Think what you want, everyone should have opinions or nothing would ever change, but does your opinion have to be that she is only doing the way she does things due to marketing? Art is about self expression and not always about making a political/environmental point. Well I suppose that's just my opinion about art really.

  • @allerloindici

she can sing about whatever she wants, i think we are all related to everything= i just hope it is in our consciousness more for our own sake and all other living things...... i have the right to my beliefs and can think what i wish

  • @blacklebee Why can't she just be how she is? Maybe she likes being this way. Why should it matter? If you want to sing songs about the planet go ahead, if she wants to that's fine, but if she wants to sing about relationships who has the right to criticise her?

  • I Love her *-*

  • i wish women would stop trying to look so typical.. i love her voice and wish she was less girlie and more like her voice, i guess its marketing. I hope we start singing about the planet and ourselves in relationship to it, hoping this song is about that and not just her love affair

  • prettiest woman with the prettiest voice. damn i wanna marry her!
