well i clean my room every day and after 1 year opened my keyboard and found nothing : /

@CrAzY3AGL3 Well we have a school field just outside our condo as well it is very dry here so there is a LOT of dust, even cleaning/dusting daily, it's crazy. I also do not deny the occasional eating/snacking\drinking around my keyboard as I am SURE can be said for many gamers or PC users so it is just a tip for those who need it.

I removed the keycaps after 4 and a half years, and the dust underneath was unbelievable----I washed all the keys in a bowl of warm water and cleaned out inside the exposed keyboard. Result: the computer works noticably faster, this is on par with cleaning a dust-caked mouse. It took about an hour [my first attempt, but I'll soon regain that and more, via speeded-up computer use.

The keyboard also now looks brand-new.

This is well worth it.
