Aussies love to do training with their humans if you do it positively. And a happy dog is one who knows exactly what is expected of them.
-
30 minutes of training (scattered throughout the day) pluse a good hour and a half to two hours of excercize should make for a good living companion. but every other week I recommend spending the entire day with your pup, going to pet stores, going to the dog park, going to the beach, and just try to REALLY wear him/her out compleatly.

6-8 hours isn't too long for a young aussie to sit in a kennel. But I do recommend a kennel because bored aussies have been known to distroy furniture and nick nacs.

Haha SO cute to watch them circle together!
-
we put the treat at thier eye level and then would have them follow it in a circle all the time saying "Circle" and then when they face you again you give them a treat and say "good circle!"

Wow.
Your dogs are great. How old they are? (Sorry my english isn't so good. I'm from Germany +gg+)
I've got a Aussie, too. Also a Red Merle like Jack, his name is 'Coffee'.
You can look to my Videos there is one from him.
Wow how do you train him to beg?

I put my arm under his front feet and raised his front off the ground while he stayed sitting, then I'ed say "Beg" and give him a treat. it took about a week with 10 minute sessions 3 times a day each day.
