This is a video inspired from an MTV ad. Tracked with Boujou, cones made in 3ds Max 2009, composed in After Effects.
I have to improve the cone animation :)
I hope you like it.

  • use maya, you could do greater stuff then!

  • Give me 5 good reasons why I should use Maya, then I would think about changing.

  • maya and max are practically the same, except maya has the potential for some amazing dynamics effects, and max has an easier UI

but its not about the software its about how good the artist is

  • Exactly : )

  • thats my family !!! :D Im a yellow road cone ... unfortunatelly i wasnt there D:

  • How did you get Boujou? It is SOOOOO expensive.

  • I tried blender once but i found the user interface too hard. But I saw great stuff done in blender.

  • yeah blender is pretty nice too I guess, but not as nice as maya still :P

  • dude, you could make stuff like this withh blender, haha,

    blender ftw :D :P

  • gimme a break, have u ever used these things? Of course it's about the artist more than the software, but compare some shit created by perhaps a great artist, in max, to something created in maya. Maya isn't just better with dynamics and other fx, it's better with anything. Check out the demos/trials of them if you want too. Or search for "maya weta" on utube and pick the first result.
