"A National Disgrace" takes a probing look at the challenges facing Detroit and its controversial school board. Providing a history of Detroit's decline, the documentary focuses on the plight of one student's desperate attempt to succeed despite the odds.

Ironic you should say that. I'm not even white, and I can see that whites are the new minority.

I work with the public every day, and the rudest, loudest, most obnoxious people I deal with are usually black. That's not racism, it's fact. And the way I've seen some treat their children in front of me is appalling.

There are people of color that carry themselves with dignity and intelligence.

Follow their example.
