  • Dish Network's deceptive trade practices against my Senior Citizen father, an outstanding community citize/ leader who has worked honorably and honestley his whole life in community service and hard work, having Dish Network cheat him with deceptive trade practices is disgraceful. Its also building bad blood within our community .

  • Thats an outright lie ! My Senior Citizen father signed up for Dish Networks 24.99/ month plan /americans top 120 with 12 months for that price and remainder locked 12 months locked for 39.99. As a new Customer inquiring he inquired to dish if he could frezze his account for several weeks so he could visit India for a Hindu / Jain Pilgrimage. Dish Network advised he could use dish pause and omitted did not disclose it would forfiet his package. Now he is paying double /month. Shame CEO Ergen!

  • I had dish and the service was shity the tv would go out when it was suny out side i`ll (never) go back to there service.

  • #1 in customer satisfaction???? Not this customer. I have had DISH for 10 months and signed a 24 month contract to "lock in my savings" for 12 months. DISH has increased my bill twice in this 10 month period. The rate of 37.99 that I signed the contract for is now 44.99 and I was told if I read the small print on my contract it says prices are subject to change without notification even. And in 2 months when I reach the 12 month mark they are raising another 15.00

    Deceptive advertising.

  • @sherryro321 Directv charges for upgrades and doesn't give their current customers the new customer deals either. These are new customer offers, when you signed up 3+ years ago I'm sure you got a promo discount. BTW dish doesn't even start making a profit on new customers till about 2 years, they would go broke if they gave everyone those deals.

  • @SNOOP97DAWG Sure if you want to pay up to $25 more for pretty much the same channels go with direct. Yea directv has dish beat for sports and has a few more channels like tvone and fittv, but for most people dish is a better value. Also there is not a big difference in the number of HD channel between the two. Finally folks in the NE now get a stronger signal with dish's eastern arc over directv.

  • RIGHT! why dont you tell people the truth? how u guys dont provide nearly as many channel in HD as directv or sports programming.... how bout telling people hey we balked at dumped fox channels from the lineup and are soon to lose the Main Fox network as well....Directv is and always will be #1 in tv

  • I am a loyal cust. for 3+ yrs. Never miss a payment. I tried unsuccessfully to get HD DUO DVR receiver to replace the duo dvr receiver I have now. new customer can get it & 6 rooms installed for less, and I cant get an upgraded receiver without paying 100 for it & 95 for a tech. my file is noted with the calls I made the past weeks to find a way to get what I want without going to Direct, ATT or Charter. So far no luck. I just saw your commercial about you try to keep the prices low?

  • What's embarrassing about humble beginnings Charlie?

  • I dont like this commercial---to be the co founder of the company then while are you saying that the picture of the first satelite that you delivered is embarrassing. That should be a proud picture. Buts thats the way it is "Once you get successful you always forget where you came from' I would focus on the way Dish TV got started and how it is today instead of being embarrassed,
