Look, i know the video shows a bunch of tourists (i brought my uni friends from Switzerland this year) but like i said my dad's from Corfu and we have an appartment in Corfu town near Garitsa, i go there every year, sometimes off season.. I know more than you may guess.. Do you really think people come to Kerkyra because of google earth?! Anyway have a nice day and good luck hiding in your backyard :-)

@qikfix what's your point? Sadly, every "paradise on earth" are eventually vanishing with mass tourism (Bali, for example), but why would you say "you are all dreamers,,,"? I don't get your point.

My dad grew up in Corfu and also tells me how things have changed, but what can you do about it? Being from Corfu, i'm sure you know about the hidden villages and remote beaches NO tourist wanders into.. Corfu still has some secret spots, and despite the mass tourism, i still find it pretty amazing!

I am Greek but I could never see the beauty of this island...hot and awful weather..terrible traffic (a parking place is a dream in this island), abandoned seasights, mediocre beaches, overpriced services...the worst island in Greece

Hello, get out of Corfu town... I agree with you that greek islands have all some magic, but if you only saw mediocre beaches and terrible traffic, you haven't ventured past Mon Repos, Barbati ,Messonghi or Kavos!! try the north-west coast next time! Kala na pernas

@Vassilika 1. Welcome to tourist island mentality mate...and the "real" Corfu that only shows up in winter. I was born and raised on Κέρκυρα but I'm not what you call a "typical" resident nor do I think like one.
