@09Chique09 It's probolly because she's crazy powerful and batshit crazy and so they think the kid will be that way too. Also could be because the kidwould be an "abomonation" because of who it's mom is and how it came to be born from beyond the grave. (how does a ghost thing give birth anyway should be the real question don't you think? Alma is soposed to have died years go o.0)
