    Actually, Pictures can't execute code.

  • @IcY5eptember: It is not impossible that a specially crafted image file triggers a weakness in an image handler to execute malicious code. It already happened, see the Windows Metafile (WMF) exploit.

  • @Hypernl Yes it is possible, but you would need to find some sort of exploit in the program that handles the picture files

AHH, thank you, i never actually knew how picture files are different, now that i know that it's all to do with compilers i see now. thank you.

I knew about the website thing, i made my own, orly-owl.com

  • @yeesnaw how can a website run? through code. how does an image appear? through code. when the computer executes a file its running code onto the computer. that running of the code can actually run different code that executes something onto your computer. all data on the computer isthe same. the extension only tells the computer whic compiler to use to unravel the file

  • Free music or video files?

my question is how can the OS execute the file that is in the wrong file format?

  • copyright propaganda alert: 2:05, implying that downloading music is a risky behavior. Nonsense.
