Do you really think sex matters in terms of surviving a Titanic-like disaster? How would any edge men have physically come into play? The only scenario mentioned, or that comes to mind, in which physical differences might matter is the home invasion one, i.e. in a defense position. Maybe the "tougher social responsibilit[y]" isn't justified?
