@wildbill1911A1 For Americans it probably is, because Americans don't know a fucking thing about anything outside of America. For example you use a casserole dish that giant pot, it's nothing like a shepherds pie, you don't use mashed potatoes, just ordinary sliced potatoes, it uses lamb not beef, and it takes roughly 2 hours to cook in total.

(PS a tip.. put a sprig of rosemary in the pot on top whilst cooking.. the finishing touch and gives it a wonderful piquance..)

Just for your info (and kindly meant!) lookup on youtube "Sonja's Lancashire Hotpot" which is about as accurate as you will get... :)
But a sterling effort Sir.. take my hat off to you...

Definitely should be lamb mate,, take it from us in Lancashire...;) otherwise outstanding video. Great to see the colonies (joke!) being inquisitive about good food from around the world.. :)
