  • Expressive--dead on intonation, her bowing is always so percise. Even though she isn't seen it can be heard that she never breaks those long, slurred bowing passages. Her trills start out just a little slow and then spring to life as they speed up and then slow back down delicately...very close attention to dynamics. I note all these things because I just worked on this piece. This movement is the "easier" of the three movements yet the most difficult to get correct..at least in my estimation

  • beautiful,

  • I was twenty-one years young and in my first summer in love when I heard this first. Though love was lost this piece still stirs as if the first.

  • @curtisharrell Yes, tis Heaven.

  • Surely, this MUST be the way the angels sing...

  • @caterthun Me, too.

  • Wow, those who voted thumbs down must be ignorant of classical music, true violin virtuosity, or simply bigots!

  • This is the only version that brings me to tears. I'm working on this piece currently and would be ecstatic if I could play it only half as well.
