Lets be realistic.. Watching a 6min video that only shows tex you can read in one minute is useless, I really disapprove Van Sant's methods..

No wonder this was uploaded to youtube. Disappointing for someone of Gus Van Sants caliber. Perhaps the funding of this short may have been better spent.

It is true that it's not the easiest to watch, with no classical story but an atmosphere that is supposed to express a silent story.
Gus Van Sant just tried to make people feel the frightening and cold blood gap which exists between carefree Californian skaters (the actors really didn't even react or care when we explained to them the context of the short film) and childhood reality in the poorest countries. It may seems simple only if we consider it can't change. Gus was one of these children.
