This is a very special car indeed, a genuine factory-built fuelie convertible, brimming with factory finery and expertly restored to fabulous condition. The original White top is but one absolute necessity to properly accent the show-quality Venetian Red finish and pristine Red and Silver interior; the other is the incredibly rare factory Continental kit that, along with the fender skirts and dual antennae adds so much to the car's iconic nature.
The 283 cubic inch smallblock and column-shifted three-speed manual transmission have been renewed to the same exacting standards as the rest of this gorgeous machine, with the result that the car runs and drives better than new.
If a classic '57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible was once the car of your dreams, here it is again, in all its brilliant Red, top-down, fuel-injected glory.
Highlights:
- Complete nut & bolt restoration
- Real factory high horsepower 283/283 HP
- Standard shift
- Manual 3-speed transmission
- Factory fuel injected
- Red with White original top and factory Red & Silver interior
- Rare and very popular factory Continental kit
- Dual antennas
- Fender skirts
The Rochester F.I. was a big deal back then, the 1st year. But they didn't work so good & it was a very expensive option. $400 or $500 more. They were high maintenance, as a kid in the 1960's I never saw 1 Fuelie. So that tells me something, nobody wanted it because it was Junk ! 2 or 4 barrel is good enough for me.

If the 57 Chevy was so great, how come they're not making them anymore? JK Gorgeous ride actually.
