Let us give tribute to Bulleh Shah for the courageous verses and trying to do away with the caste system, which had crept into Islam, although the religion declared that every person was equal in the eyes of God regardless of caste, color, religion, nationality, gender, ancestry, socio-economic status, etc. Bulleh wrote"jerk sanoo syed akhey, dozakh milan sazaayan" "jerra sanoo araain akhey, behishtay peenga paayan" . Bulleh shah is the greatest poet and philosopher of the last 1300 years. He portrayed the REAL Islam, in which there is no caste. Every body is equal. Bulleh had a tremendous regard for all humans. He says " masjid dhaa they, mandir dhaa they; Dhaa they jo Kooch dhenda hay. Per kissay the dil na dhaain, iday which rub rhenda."
