This was the second single released by herarsetoymug's favourite band in the world...ever :) It made number 22 in the UK charts upon its re-release in July 1988.

I believe the performance is taken from the programme, 'The Garden Party' (though there's some debate about that :)) shown on BBC television from 1988-91.

  • It also contains the great lines, "That's why I sometimes stand alone at parties/That's why I drink, so I'll be who they think I am"... which is almost profound in some way!

  • I remember seeing them at a KROQ concert in LA back in 1989.

  • They don't make them like that any more :(

I assume this was off some daytime TV show? They changed "I get it every day" to "I see him every day"

  • @MrSkydog haha thats funny this song reminds me of peeling spuds, i was working in a hotel at the time as a kp and i had to peel a shit load of spuds whilst listning to this album on loop i was only 16 and had alredy landed on me feet. I said nothin and neither did the spuds

  • Looks like Pebble Mill to me. Fab tune. Love it! Saw them in London quite a few years ago supporting The Wonder Stuff. Met them in the foyer and they said their friends at home don't believe they still have a following. We gave them our tickets to take home to prove it to their friends. Lovely people and just great music.
