FYI, the take off was wrong:) I have been stationed on ships in the Coast Guard, and here's how it goes: The helicopters always leave to the left. The ships put the wind 15 degrees at 15 kts on the port bow. The reason is that because of the way the blades turn, if a helo had an engine failure during take off, it would go to the left, the ship would break to starboard. This is standard throughout the USCG on all Medium and High Endurance Cutters.

@pricelessppp you mean the tool to move the ships? I don't think so, however I have never used it (never had a need for it).
