About TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  • great talk, thank you~!

  • Interesting! :)

  • One of the - BEST - TED talks I have heard in a while: going beyond a culture of competition.

Excellently presented way to go back to 1844 where a first turning point reshaped our world towards the global interconnected rapidly changing world we live in and have the opportunity to shape. Ubuntu and game changing concepts banking on "people's higher nature"

Thank you Leyla for this presentation!

  • Cooolio :)

  • i think it is pretty naive to claim that the competitive nature of evolution that has been in place for billions of years has totally changed in the last 200 years. i would say it is much more likely that our species has shifted from stressing natural selection into stressing sexual selection. connecting with people has become much more of a stress possibly because we dont have much natural competition anymore but have much more sexual competition

  • very inspiring ;-)

  • nice
