  • and this will make me a better musician how?

  • @TheeAldeen The amazing musicians that I know (see some of my other videos) really understand how their tools work. But the purpose of this video was to help the physics stydents understand applications of the theory they have to learn anyway.

  • The Human Response to those wavelengths is what is interesting. To one it is music, and to another it is Madness.

But, only Holy Spirit-filled-Christian music TRANSFORMS the HUMAN SPIRIT from death to eternal life. Jesus is life.

  • As a Holy Spirit filled Christian myself, I can assume that the music I played transfored your human spirit.

  • whoeverposted this video is a retard 'coz that's not even close to string theory. what u showed us here is nothing more than an application of newtonian mechanics and i believe the topic is call "Standing Waves"

if u wanna know what string theory is watch any on brian greene's "Elegant Universe

    " series. all the best

  • Oh, and by the way, At what point do you decide you are in a position to call someone else a 'retard'? I watched all the videos that you posted... oh NONE! so that just makes you a kid with a keyboard. Good luck with that!

  • @rowellbeej01 this comment is not directed at the guy who posted this video. I'm pretty sure he knows this. this comment is for anyone who does not know this. enjoy and impress your friends

  • here is some easy math.

if you double the length of a string... you move an octave lower.

cool huh. it takes twice as long for the wave to bounce back... and there is your math with the music. (measure your guitar from the bridge to the octave fret, then measure your guitar from the bridge to the top bridge. exactly double)

  • vibrating strings. math. physics.

i get it. not completely, but there is something to be said for math, music, and the order of the universe all being tied together.

"naysayers" beware. the truth is out there.

    thanks for the video

  • @julialuvsjesus Are you absolutely insane? Or just high?

  • The Pythagoreans were studying such a subject 2,500 years ago. The name String Theory comes from them. 99%, the frets on the guitar are the cause of such studies in dividing the strings to create precise harmonics and pitch.

Thank you for posting a very interesting Video, everyone in music (of any genre) should know such things.

  • informative and decently easy to understand. Thank you for speaking in plain English!! Im doing a project on the basics of music and math and looking at this really helped me more than all those complicated websites and videos out there! thanks!

  • smartboard is an awesome tool.

it makes explaining math much easier

  • oops sorry now you look like the retard because you didn't get that they were referring to guitar strings. they put music in (). read the description.

btw elegant universe was awesome wasn't it?

    cheers
