thats disgusting, you did u know you don't need a fire to heat rocks, to cook ramen? there's a white, where when it touches water it just boils the water. its cool

why dont you just boil the water by setting the pot in the coals or near the flames of the fire, then add your ramens like you do at the house?? ive been camping and hiking all my life and never heard of this one!!

This method is used when the container you have is not suitable for use on the fire. i.e. a plastic container, bark or wood bowl etc. Besides, what fun is it to always do everything the traditional way?
