If Civil Unions are totally equal to marriage, then people wouldn't scream bloody murder when the gays want to use the term.

It seems that America can never realize when its traditions are 'wrong'.

What is popular is not always right, what is right is not always popular.

I wonder when the Gays will realize that the democrats use their votes, then never push for CHANGE...while republicans use the anti-gay votes and follow through with oppression...

If videos to ban the gays from marriage can prohibit comments, then so can I.

Thanks everybody, just keep asking opponents of gay marriage to explain in clear, scientifically demonstrable terms, exactly how any gay marriage stops heterosexuals from getting/being married, or having children.

Also, remind them that heterosexuality is the 'more dangerous lifestyle' for women, compared to homosexuality. Lesbians have fewer cases of HIV/AIDS, fewer cases of being raped, murdered, abused or neglected compared to their heterosexual counterparts.

Y'know, I am one very *good* example of why homosexuality is not a choice. I am 100% heterosexual. Sometimes, I wish I could be homosexual. BUT, no matter what, I will never be homosexual. My heterosexuality is *not* a choice. And, if you say that one can be a choice while the other can't, well, then, you can just stay in your hypocritical little world, tyvm.

Ban divorce. Get rid of marriage-based reality TV. Nobody freaked out about the sanctity of marriage when Britney Spears got hitched and divorced in less than 3 days. Procreation degrades the purpose of marriage to a basic functionality; one that not all heterosexual couples are capable of nor choose to engage in. When I marry a girl, and we decide not to have a child, would that make our marriage illegitimate?

There's no solid argument against it. Coming from a heterosexual Christian male.
