It's sad to think some people will never get to appreaciate this beautiful music just because they cannot get used to Jacob's vocals, which are perfect just as they are.

If you're new to this style of music, this most definitely isn't the place to start... I'd say get into some hardcore bands first or maybe Converge's most recent works, since that kind of stuff is much more accesible. This is by far their best work (and probably the best album in the hardcore/metalcore genre of all time to be honest), but it can be very hard to get into if you're new to the genre.
