Speaking as a non american, but haveing an interest in US politics I have to say that while some of RP's beliefs on immigration may be against some of my beliefs, I do However believe That RP is Your best choice of President But On a more cynical notes The fact that he is Undoubtally honest /direct and intelligent and as he against the establishment of A New world order which is in sharp contrast to your other candidates there is no way the 'powers that be' will allow this,
16th Amendment: The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

The Supreme Court has already ruled that the 16th amendment gives the Congress no new powers of taxation. Nowhere in the amendment does it say that the congress can lay a DIRECT tax that is unapportined.

Thank God! Can you tell me which case it was? I'd like to investigate this further.

I believe it was Brusbacher vs. Union Pacific. Also, there has been some interesting speculation by Bill Benson regarding the legality of the ratification process that was used to bring about the 16th amendment. There's some interesting information on this matter at:

Aaron Russo also did an award winning documentary regarding these matters titled "America: From Freedom to Fascism" available on Google Video.
