@TheRealEOD gotta keep in mind drum patterns like chords are used in every way possible even today you cant go without hearin a song that reminds you of another one from past times.

It's really not hard to ascertain that speed with one foot, people who use double bass for that purpose are clearly missing the point of the double bass pedal.
