Imagine in 1991, 1994, and 1998 we had those titles in our hands and we let it go. We just beat ourselves pretty much going into the last two weeks. Imagine not blowing it in on Easter in 1991/92, beating West Ham in 1993/1994, not losing to Arsenal in 1998 and Giggs and Schmeichel not going down. We could of gone 10 years straight winning those titles. The same can be said in 2009/2010 by not beating Blackburn. Most of the time we just beat ourselves in those situations.

This is a brilliant video. I was just too young to remember the Anfield defeat in '92 but it seems like a paradoxical day. On the face of it utterly shite but also a source of pride.

Shame Sir Matt wasn't around to see us wheel in all the trophies we did in the 90's but he was alive to see us end the big wait. That's all that mattered.
