Thanks for posting this, I'm learning the dutch waltz at the moment and it's helpful to find a video that isn't of pairs. Especially when I'm still trying to cement the steps in my head ;)

Thank you for posting these! I'm looking to get back to skating in the near future (once I move where the ice rink isn't 2+ hours away!)
I haven't skated at all for about 3 or 4 years. I used to not be interested in ice dance but I am now. Maybe that comes with being older, I don't know.
Thanks for the post!

nice and smooth and elegant!

Sounds fun! From the little I've seen of the Cha Cha, it looks fun, if complex (along w/ the Finnstep)! Several of the Internationals are new to testing/competition since I've been active. The Starlight was one of my favorite dances to do in competition (Senior Adult, ca. 1991). Best wishes!

Oh, I'm sure you've improved a lot since then. Odd about that Mohawk - it's far and away my best one! Which isn't saying much, but at least I can do it at speed.
Great Video! Just in a scramble to get my coaching levels and I’m using your video to prepare, so thanks so much for posting it!
CHEERS!

Nice job! Makes me want to get back into ice-dance, if we had a rink closer by! Your rink size (3/4-Olympic) sounds about the size of the one I learned most of the dances on...about 100 years ago, it seems...What dances are you working on now?

Thank you for the nice comment.
Currently I am working on Starlight Waltz and Cha Cha Congelada for my next test. It is taking quite a while to get there.

I think we're old enough friends that I can tease you about the bent free legs, the lack of toe-point and the rather dubious Mohawk - but you knew all that already, I'm sure. And you have super posture and speed - much better than mine!

LOL - thank you (I think)!!
That was a while ago now. I would like to think that I have improved since then. But I still hate that mohawk. Don't know why - my body just hates it and finds it awkward.
