  • may I ask if you change the tubes&rebias only or if you have changed/added some resistors ?? thanks

BTW great vid, thanks for sharing

  • @dirtyTony666 changed the Gz34 and ecc83s to some Mullards and GEC KT66 and few caps changed etc, I dont know ALL the details as my amp mate did it for me, although I sold the amp years ago to a friend its stll around so I may borrow it again and do some stuff

  • And by the way with a voice like that, this should be in the comedy section.

  • @Carthsgtr I have made a vid a put it in comedy section! I'm English, we sound like that!

  • Why on earth did you sell this amp mate?

  • @JoshuaKarno Well the truth is.. I wanted a Twin Reverb.. I think think thye are wonderful amps! I sold the BluesBreaker to my mate at its been sat in his front room getting very little use for last few years..I think I wil ask him if I can borrow it back and rock it out again!

  • @rolodexroulette Got a '57 Twin too. A really awesome amp.

  • Get a Dallas rangemaster treble booster or rangemaster copy and you'll be amazed at the tones you can get with this setup. Was commonly used in the old days by the likes of Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Brian May among others.

  • So I ended up getting a 57 Twin... It's absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the help.

  • I really like the top end on this thing. Sounds great. Got a lot of chime!

  • Awesome sound!

  • I bought one of these a couple of years back - packed up twice shortly afterwards due to valve failures. Pleased with the amp since but I would advise anyone buying a BB reissue to replace the crap Marshall valves with some decent alternatives.

  • looks a bit like a young liam gallagher demoing the amp ;)

  • @StowBurst what do you play now? didn't you sell the twin as well?

  • wow this amp is huge!!in the picktures i've seen it looks just like the class 5 amp!!jeez im impressed!
