BlazerCast for December 15, 2009: A University of Alabama at Birmingham Vision Science Research Center investigator who also is an expert marksman has found a more intuitive way to aim a pistol.

Associate Professor Timothy Kraft, Ph.D., has developed a new gunsight design that relies on subconscious ability. Opti-sight, a UAB-protected innovation, updates a pistol-aiming device that has remained unchanged for more than a century. Opti-sight promises to reduce the time law enforcement, professional and amateur shooters need for target practice to improve marksmanship.

  • @sfatpaintballer Says the douchebag with the name paintballer that's never fired a real gun

  • looks like a POS sight!!! no wonder ur not a good shooter

  • I think this is an outstandingly good idea, Mr Kraft - has it helped your scores, and is it legal on an ISSF pistol? I would very much like to experiment with it myself, do you plan to put it into commercial production for the more common match pistols, both rimfire and air powered?
