Thessaloniki [My Hometown]

This is a video I made for my hometown, Thessaloniki (or Salonica) which is located in North Greece (Makedonia). If you have lived or visited Thessaloniki, you'll understand why I love it so much. I used a greek song by a famous and highly appreciated singer, Dimitris Mitropanos. It is called "S' anazito sti Saloniki" which means "I seek for you in Salonica". Relax and enjoy! :)

I think I will eventually do one of my home town, Greece is amazing! I really hope I can go there someday.....

Yes I live closeby to beaches, but in summer it's always full of people and tourists! Anyway, it's a beautiful city :)

Thessaloniki has nothing to do with Thessaly (just look-alike names :P) Thessaly is in central Greece :) Thessaloniki is in North Greece.

@ggcaleta48 Well we could just point out that King Philip of Macedon named the city after his little girl whom was named Thessaloniki, since he found out about the birth the day Macedonia conquered Thessaly! So its thessaly-(niki =victory)
