I believe it`s one of my most favourite poems of Brooke. I even went to Granchester to see the Orchand you wrote about George. It`s a lovely place indeed. Wish to go back there sometime.

I don't think it's a movie. I believe it was a play he was in at one time.

@AvaAdore10 yep, I find this to be a very moving piece, that sense of the beauty of living, the intensity and yet, at the same time, the vulnerability that we all share.

Thanks for the info H. The resemblance is uncanny though so I think I will forgive myself! Tis a lovely poem and always reminds of the hill behind The Orchards Tearoom, Granchester, where Brooke would take his breakfast following a skinny dip in the Granta.

Hmm, checked it out and yes, you may be right. Is it the second pic you are referring to? Hmm, will have to check out the film as I am an admirer of both Rupert Brooke and Colin Firth!
