  • can you do a natural ghr? Better yet, a natural single leg ghr

  • What is a natural GHR?

  • Questions for the guy in the video:

How much can you squat max?

How much can you dead lift max?

How did you build up from bi to uni for this movement (your strength is amazing)?

  • Squat max 415 (A2G) @ 165. Deadlifts...don't max it. Clean & Jerk max = 287. I didn't build to it...I just never had a problem doing it actually.

  • why the bounce then? using more momentum vs pausing at the bottom

  • When training for athletics fast switching movements are often advantageous as this is how muscles function in sport.

  • That would be amazing to see.

  • impressive, but form seems to suffer to some degree

  • seems like ur using more of ur upper back than hamstring

  • Not as the focus. The hamstring acts as both a hip extensor and knee flexor. So the large movement about the hip is also working the hamstring. As for the limited ROM at the top of the movement- that's intentional. Because of the leverage of the exercise, any movement beyond about 45 degree angle with the ground provides very little resistance. In fact, the last 30 degrees or so can be done with little to no work from hamstrings.
