Man, New Zealand has some of the best landscaping in the world. It wasn't until the 1800's that humans even walked these lands. And even as of today, the land remains hardly touched. The rivers and lakes are as blue as the ocean. The air is clean. And the life down there is free. I'd say this would be THE PERFECT vacation spot.

No wonder Peter Jackson filmed "The Lord of the Rings" here. It looks fantastic everywhere.

Migratory Polynesian people that later called themselves 'Maori' are considered to have arrived in these islands sometime between 1250 and 1300 CE, according to researcher David Lowe of the Univ. of Waikato, Hamilton, NZ. The Maori no doubt very much consider themselves human.
