Kevin Partyka's first ever flight .. and crash / landing, all in one go!
The big questions are:
1) Why did it fly over to the right so much?
I can't see any evidence of any right brake. - was it torque or position of pilot or something else?
2) If he had kept the power on - would he have kept flying or just crashed anyway ...at full revs!?
I'm sure we will soon know (his machine is going to be looked at and re tested) & Kevin will take to the air again, with confidence, very soon.
Kevin is largely uninjured (just feeling a bit stiff the next day I think) and looking forward to his next flight.
Quote from Kevin: " I hate Weatabix"
He just dit sit too early on his seat and released the throttle and pushed it a liitle moment later. A pilot error not a machine problem.

@dannyweston1 Danny I think Hoyt was flying a very small acro glider which is very easy to manipulate with any amount of torque. I have found that the fixed hang points on the Flat Top with a proper glider such as the one flown in this video would never allow this. So I would have to agree that if this guys was on a Flat Top or Walkerjet, never would have happened.

@Thunderball410 Hoyt Dale Patton Jr suffered a broken arm, ribs and pelvis through riser swist on his flat top, I'm pretty sure Dells thing isn't the answer!

It's riser twist from torque and high hang points. Totally solved with a flat top paramotor. You need the thrust to climb, and you can't use full power. Bad.
Straightening your legs out will help some.

most common mistakes new pilots make is not realizing they are slightly pulling on the brakes when they think they are not...........also left trimmer could have been set out for speed ( keep both pulled in always especially when new in the sport )........id hang test him in that harness and make sure it is set up level & correctly............thats a start
