Sgt. CRAIG BREINER TO MARCH ACROSS NEW JERSEY AGAIN TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE "INTREPID FALLEN HEROES FUND"
United States Marine Corps Sergeant Craig Breiner (inactive reserve) will once again be marching across the state of New Jersey to raise the morale of our troops serving abroad. This time though, he's put money where his feet are. Breiner will be raising funds for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund with every step he takes.
"[T]his time my family and I wanted to make the impact tangible. What better way to do that than raise money for an organization that helps our war veterans and their families?"
Breiner is soliciting donations for every mile he walks. "People can pledge like a walk-a-thon or just make a donation."
The 47-mile march will take place on Veteran's Day, Sunday, November 11th. Tentative plans call for Breiner, who served over five years active duty (including a deployment to Iraq), to step off from the State House in Trenton early in the morning, trek across the state, and reach the boardwalk in Asbury Park early in the evening.
"I'm very honored and excited to be helping a great organization like the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund," Breiner continued. "I don't want people to get the wrong idea. This isn't about politics, pro or anti-war. It's about people and recognizing the sacrifices they've made for their country."
One hundred-percent of the proceeds will go to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (tax ID number is available). Individuals can contribute through a money order, a check, or donate directly to the fund via the Fallen Heroes' website. No cash please.
Anyone with questions, wishing to make a donation, volunteer, or march can reach Craig Breiner via email at Marinewalk2@yahoo.com or see the Marine Walk link on the Intrepid Fallen Heroes' website at www.fallenheroesfund.org

For the record, this is not Craig's page, but a page created for Craig to help promote his walk.

£20 says anti war people hate him

The project was mocked on a NJ blog last year by anti war folks. They also predicted he wouldn't make it, which he did.
