"A positive force for change" -- give me a break! 250 inappropriate wheelchairs that Chevron probably didn't pay a cent for. I am guessing that Chevron likely paid the transport, and that's it.
Then there were the photo ops with the President's wife, and a bunch of Angolans going off with their more often than not useless wheelchairs.....many to be sold in the local markets.
Interesting.....and complete crap. Given that, to my knowledge, Chevron didn't give a cent to rehab or prosthetics work. Nice images though. Good thing others were funding this work.
All they seemed to want to do is continue to buy favours with the Angolan govt through their "partnership" with the Lwini Foundation.
