  • @HarrynJessie - which portions of an "interventionist" climate change policy were picked up by the ALP? I'd really like to know. And what about his "disability policy"? Abbott wanted them to all go out and get jobs - that was his policy. If you haven't already figured it out, Abbott gets most of his "policies" from people like Alan Jones. Apart from his PPL - which he didn't even take to the Liberals to get their approval - Abbott just repeats whatever Alan Jones tells him to.

  • @HarrynJessie - Yeah, policy barren. You've named a few policies - name them all. Even Abbott has claimed that they won't be releasing policies until the next election, so you're currently listing yesterdays policies (except the PPL, which he supports, but the majority of the Liberals want gone). And quite frankly, if the PPL represents the best of his policies, then it proves that Abbott is not worth voting for. His PPL does nothing for stay at home mums.

  • @HarrynJessie - please show me where I defended Gillard? My comment stands for itself. Quite frankly, neither Party has shown why they should be voted for, and quite frankly, Gillard needs a good kick up the a**e for her backflips (like on Asylum Seekers). Sadly, there are no other options for PM, unless the Liberals wake up and replace Abbott with Turnbull. Then the Libs will be worth voting for. Think what you will but I will NEVER vote for the Liberals if it means Abbott may become PM.

  • @mcdazz "Abbott is the biggest fraud perpetrated on the Australian people since federation." That's a rather big call; so you have no problem with Julia Gillard implementing a CO2 tax without a sckerrick of a mandate? If that is your position, then why do you have a problem with Abbott being a liar? I agree he's very much a convictionless politician, and I can't stand him, but why is that an argument FOR another convictionless politician in Gillard? Just questioning your logic, if any.

  • @mcdazz "policy barren"? You argue that the Libs PPL scheme was "policy barren"? Their disabilities policies (many of which are now being picked up by the ALP) are "policy barren"? Their interventionist climate change policies (many of which are also being picked up by the ALP) are "policy barren"?

OK. So what constitutes a policy that is not "policy barren"? Or perhaps you simply didn't think through your argument.

  • @mcdazz Agreed!!

  • God Liberal has become Labor....

  • HAHA MR ABBOTT... There IS a "carbon tax" in Hollywood.

  • @danielmy08: Honest? Abbott is anything but honest. Abbott is a well known liar and has admitted that he doesn't tell the truth on National TV - there are plenty of Abbott's lies revealed on YouTube, so go and have a look if you've got the guts. All Abbott knows how to do is run a negative opposition, and granted, he does that very well. But the reality is that he is policy barren. Abbott is the biggest fraud perpetrated on the Australian people since federation.
