@Caleb6543 When we cut foam model airplane wings of this size, we place the airfoil template forward 0.25-inches from the vertical edge of the foam core block, resulting in a square leading edge once cut. We then glued-on a 0.25" square balsawood leading edge with white glue, and then sanded it to shape. This makes the leading edge stronger and less prone to dings. Glad you are having fun.

That's a neat configuration. I can't wait to see you holding the pole in 30mph winds as you give it the first real world test. ;-) BTW, I never saw anyone cut cores that way. This is the way I learned to do it --> Vid KZl8XqC3c1Y . He used a weight to pull the bow but it can also be done manually. Do the side closest to the table surface first. Comes out near perfect if the wire temp is right.
