Metallica remains awesome i dont a shit if they went "mainstream." You guys who dont like them because they became more popular or cut their hair are so narrow minded. Every good band HAS to keep up with the times. How many of you guys would listen to them if they were still an 80s metal band?

i say,,,,metallica DID NOT go mainstream....they just did what they felt was right and stuck to their own set of roots and played what they felt was right for the time in music

If we all learn to respect peoples opinions, even if we disagree, than the music world will be a better place. Screw this "metal rabelion" shit. I dont like Pop or hip hop either, but I dont hate on their music. That would make me just as bad as them. Lets all get along.
