  • Ah, this is the National Competition in Wepons Karate and not Gymnastics. Lauren is a National and World Champion. Gee, I guess the judges don't know what they are judging on. The question is, folks, most of you apprear to be experts on Judging competition. Why not then do it? of perhaps compete? or perhaps you would like to meet Lauren in a dark alley with one of those light wieght "sticks"?

  • @ProgressionFilms Even then, I just watched it again and I wasn't too impressed. Especially that weird thing she did at the beginning.

  • @Rangerhalt1 its just for the performance and the wow factor because it's a competition

  • that was really good but she has more testosterone then I do..

  • EPIC!!!!

  • She was impressive, but too much screaming. I mean, there's a Kia, (Or however you spell it) and then there's just screaming. Although when I think of masters of the staff I think of Shaolin Monks, and her.

  • Cool. But it's not called a bo staff. That's like calling it a staff staff:P Bo is Chinese for staff:P

  • Wax Wood. Very light, very fast. The Shaolin Monks themselves used it. But not only that, practice, practice, and yet more practice. If I were you I'd be practicing 4 hours a day.

  • haha! i'm right with you. my team is sending a couple of people to quebec open in april, me being one of them, and i have like 5 months to get to this point... good luck!

  • I don't mean to disrespect what she does, because she is incredible. However, I think this would be quite a bit more impressive if she (and everyone else on the national circuit) used full-weight weapons instead of balsa wood.
