  • soooooooo FAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE. ironlife ** com exposed this

  • @spamllpitdept Er jiyu waza is open handed movement - it's not meant to be technique.

  • Well that's because she wouldn't be using this approach in a real violent combat situation.

  • Polkijm - when you say "you have to be ridiculously good to 'USE' aikido as a real technique" there are a few arguments against this point. 1) This can be said of any art. 2) Where do you think these techiniques come from? Battlefield arts. Irriminage is a neck break. Ikkyo is an arm break. Ganseki otoshi is a back break. These are death blows. However, you can choose not to kill your opponent. This is what aikido offers. Having had personal security experience, let me tell you this works.

  • aikido looks like its all set up and "fake" ; aikido looks easy but it's not lemme tell you that its very useful it gives you chance to survive

  • Aikido is good, but simply not a crowd pleaser.

  • bizarre ukemi at 1.35

  • Their posture is horrible.

  • she is my idol she is my idol she is my idol she is my idol she is my idol she is my idol

  • agreed

  • Nice Aikido (the woman's movement was better than what followed), but slowing it down and putting it to classical music makes this video look retarded, and only perpetuates the reputation we Aikidoka have for being delusional fruitcakes.

Seriously dude, this is not Yoga. I've used Aikido in real situations, as have people I know. I wish people would stop framing it in this retarded faux-pacifistic hippy way.

O Sensei wasn't a big pacifist himself, neither were his students. Learn your history
