This is part 1 of my instructional on the game Racehorse, a supercharged variant of Fives.
You can pick up a Double Six set at your local toy/game shop, or at Wal-Mart, for just a few bucks.

  • Racehorse is the only way my family has ever played, and we're SUPER white (from California). Any idea on the history/origin of this method?

    A few variations:

We play off all spinners, we draw for the start, and you must lead with a double or a score.

  • I have always wondered (and feared to ask) exactly how many dominos you were playing with, as it always felt like numbers were missing. This makes sense now.

    Looking forward to part 2.

  • This sounds awesome. I have played dominos before but never racehorse. I cannot wait to play it with some friends...oh ya...no friends...*LOL* kidding. I am rushing over to watch part 2.
