Your video, Philosophy of Mind 1/2, started out wellgo with a good summary of the philosophy of mind in under 7 minutes. Should read Herbert Dryfus' What Computers Can't Do. It's an extension of how your argument went in Philosophy of Mind 1/2. Having said that, you never answered the issue that Descartes is concerned with, essentially the question of internSionality - how is it that clump of matter - the brain - can come to be about things outside itself. You are doing very well, though....

hmmmm its really a question of what is consciousness and what makes something human? jouissance?
As far as it goes I think that interaction or communication (even if non-verbal) is the cornerstone of humanity. We live in an incredibly image saturated industry however I dont think that everyone buys it. We are not passive as long as we still have a desire to communicate. Thats why freedom of speech is so fought for *and over, perhaps...
