Live steam hamster wheel

This is a wheel shaped track that rolls around powered by a Regner Willi locmotive (with its end-beams removed for clearance).
The track is made of water-jet cut pieces welded in 8 sections that are then bolted together. This is what happens when one hangs out with crabfu (http://www.crabfu.com/steamtoys/) too much...

@Delopolis Well, I'm that guy ;-) I'm not the best at hand-eye coordination, so yes, I'm "intense" when guiding several hundreds of dollars around... I was also running the camera (on a tripod) for part of it!

Isn't it wise to increase the speed of your apparatus, so it becomes more stable when going faster? Maybe you could also steer it using the shifting of weights.
